Mr. Ravindra Rai M assumed charge as the Managing Director & CEO of BOBCARD Limited on September 27, 2024.

Mr. Rai served as the Deputy Managing Director and Whole Time Director from March 27, 2024 to closing hours of September 26, 2024.
He has been part of Bank of Baroda India’s second largest Public Sector Bank. With rich experience of over 3 decades in the Banking Sector, he has proficiently worked with various divisions of the bank that include retail and corporate banking, treasury operations, and overseas operations. He is also the General Manager in Bank of Baroda.

Prior to joining BOBCARD, Mr. Rai led the Gold Loan Vertical as General Manager at the Head Office of Bank of Baroda. His previous assignment with the Bank includes stints as Regional Manager of a prominent region and headed Flagship Corporate Banking Branch where he was involved in high value corporate lending and overseeing major corporate accounts.

Mr. Rai holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Master’s in Public Relations and is an associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. Additionally, he is a certified forex professional, certification in IT and Cyber Security for Senior Management and has also attended the Dual Country Management Program conducted by NIBM at Frankfurt Germany.

Mr. Rai is an avid cricketer having represented his University, Zonal and at the State level.

Mr Rai is known for strategic acumen, profound industry insights, people development, motivation and customer engagement skills.
