Shri Abhijit Chakravorty brings over 36 years of leadership experience in banking and financial services, with a distinguished career at the State Bank of India, where he served in senior roles across Corporate Credit, Treasury, Information Technology, and Risk Management, culminating as Deputy Managing Director.
 
He previously served as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd., one of India’s leading credit card companies, from August 2023 to March 2025. 
 
Mr. Chakravorty has deep familiarity with the regulatory frameworks of the Reserve Bank of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India, and has represented organizations before the Ministry of Finance and other regulatory and policy forums.
